If you went crazy when he saw the powerful Bugatti Veyron, you know that in 1935 the automaker has left everyone flabbergasted with the Bugatti Aerolithe and your lines are super bold for the time. The Parmigiani Fleurier, one of the most prestigious brands of swiss watches, chose to pay homage to this iconic car creating a watch namesake inspired in its design.
Capturing the dash more unique the car, the Parmigiani Fleurier uses this information in their creation method, incorporating it to the clock, creating a visual relationship with the classic car.
The car Aerolithe is distinguished by the rivet that crosses it from beginning to end. This is the rivet that connects the body by circumventing the impossibility of welding the magnesium and giving the car its futuristic aesthetics. Therefore, this feature was echoed in the box with the four wings of the piece and the two chronograph pushers, which have been moulded in a spine. The profile of the watch has not changed, by following the proper style of the brand, but the surface of the wings and buttons evokes the body panels riveted to the Aerolithe. Their structures have a complex geometrical shape;it takes a great technical knowledge to do a spine that is sharp, precise and without the slightest deformation. The play of lights should be perfect.
The Bugatti Aerolithe features the dial in two versions: the “Blue pit” and the “Green cream of mint”. These two achievements are an achievement of Quadrance et of Preparing, the factory dials of polo watchmaker of Parmigiani Fleurier.
