Skeleton version of the Royal Oak Watch Classic with double balance spiral
Audemars Piguet calls his new skeleton version of the Royal Oak double Balance Wheel openworked. The open architecture allows a view through the dial to the double balance spiral stored under a gold bridge.
Two balance wheels with regulating screws and two balance spirals are combined on one axis. This should lead to increased stability due to the increased moment of inertia. The automatic plant 3132 delivers a power reserve of 45 hours and is clocked with 21,600 half vibrations.
With a golden bridge, the slate-grayed work draws a glance at the double balance. The hands of hour, minute, and central second as well as the indexes are held in Rosegold. The stainless steel version of the 41 mm in diameter and up to 5 bar waterproof Royal Oak double balance wheel openworked costs 43,100 euro, for the rose gold version will be required 75,100 euro. tw
