Procedure for applying for a visa
Since January 2008, the removal of biometric parameters was transferred to the jurisdiction of the visa center, the following rules for submitting documents for a visa were adopted:
– the applicant must personally submit his documents;
– an applicant of any age is obliged to undergo the procedure for taking biometric data on the day of applying for a visa;
– Minors (0-18 years old) must be accompanied by an adult (over 18 years old). You must have the original birth certificate of a minor child and the original internal passport of the accompanying person; – obtaining passports with visas is carried out by an employee of the visa department of the company.

An invitation letter from a company in the UK explaining why you were invited, for what purpose and where you will be staying. Foreign passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip (please pay attention to the presence of a signature and free pages in the passport). The passport must contain at least 1 blank page (both sides). If available, the originals of all parallel valid foreign passports are additionally provided. We also ask you to provide originals of previous foreign passports for the last 10 years or copies of their visa pages, if you had them before.

Photocopy of the 1st page of the Russian passport with personal data + photocopy of the page with the registration mark.

Certificate of employment on a letterhead indicating the details of the company, position, date of employment and salary (at least 30,000 rubles). The certificate must be certified by the seal and signature of the responsible person. If the traveler occupies a managerial position, then a certificate of employment is signed by some other responsible person.

For individual entrepreneurs, it is necessary to provide a certificate from the place of work on a letterhead or a certificate from the tax form 3-NDFL, as well as photocopies of the certificate of registration of the company and the certificate of registration with the tax authority.

For students – a certificate from the place of study.

For pensioners – a photocopy of the pension certificate.

Bank statement for at least 200 euros / day of stay in the country. The certificate must contain data on the movement of funds during the last 3 months.

Photocopies of property documents (such as: certificate of state registration of rights, title, etc.)

Photocopy of marriage certificate (if you are married).

A photocopy of the birth certificate of the child (children under 18), if you have children.

Attention!!! For schoolchildren, students, pensioners and the unemployed, financial guarantees are required:

Statement from the main bank account. The certificate must contain data on the movement of funds during the last 3 months.

Photocopies of property documents (such as: certificate of state registration of rights, title, etc.)

Or a sponsorship letter, as well as the following documents from the sponsor:

– Certificate from the sponsor’s place of work.

– An extract from the main bank account of the sponsor. The certificate must contain data on the movement of funds during the last 3 months.

– Photocopies of documents on the property of the sponsor (such as: certificate of state registration of rights, title, etc.)

– A photocopy of a document confirming kinship (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.).

– A photocopy of the pages of the sponsor’s Russian passport (page with personal data + page with a note about the place of registration).

Attention!!! For children under 18, in addition to the documents in the previous paragraph, the following documents must also be submitted:

Copy of birth certificate.

A notarized copy of the consent for the departure of a minor child to the UK. Consent must be issued no earlier than one month before the date of submission to the consulate.

– In case of independent departure of the child, consent is given by both parents to leave unaccompanied.

– In case of departure with one of the parents, consent from the other parent is required.

A photocopy of the pages of the Russian passport of the person giving consent to the departure of the child (page with personal data + page with a note on the place of registration).

If the parents traveling with the child already have a visa, it is necessary to provide a photocopy of 1 page of the foreign passport with personal data and a photocopy of a valid visa.
